It won't hurt to show love

I was reading on some articles about how couples be it married or not sometimes forget to show love to each other. Expressing love doesn't means buying expensive or luxurious gifts to your love one but the words that we choose to speak or actions that we take actually means much more than anything else in the world. Because the person that you love and you want to spend your life with can makes you happy. As couples grow together; they have certain expectations about each and if we do not handle that properly can result in a heart-breaking situation.

When I was younger; I told mum I will be very happy that if the man I love will to buy me flowers occasionally. And mum said "Just like that? and you be happy?" I said: " yes!" without hesitating. Now I'm older; does these still remains the same. I would say yes but the other thing is me and my boyfriend must truly love each other and that's where it really matter.

And me; I will give my boyfriend a back massage when he had a tiring day and there is no use trying to put my two cents on whatever he says. I will listen and give him a hug.

He gave me this flowers on a cruise trip and I nearly cried.

Am I emotional? I guess.. cos' we went through so much together.

My 1st 10KM Race!

Wow! I really made it! Running the Mizuno Wave Run yesterday without stopping wasn't easy but it wasn't that bad from what I have imagined. The race started/ended at Temasek Poly stadium and round Bedok Reservoir. Running on sand and pebbles do hurt like hell and the only thing that kept me going was this song that kept going through my head - Gulity Pleasure from Cobra Starship. Haha!
My own record timing at 1hr 15mins; I'm proud of myself but next time I'm aiming for 1hr. Do you think I can make it?
I do saw a lot of familiar faces that I thought I saw them on TV or some other races yesterday. I wonder next time will I also be the familiar faces to some people..

Performance Pressure

Haha! My friend sent me this. I thought its really funny. That's our life in the corporate world isn't it? But I guess life too short; be happy; treasure what you have and sometimes you need to decide for yourself when to move on.

My Beloved Dog - Koffee

I'm proud of Koffee (pronoun as Koff-fee). Yes; that's her name. I bought her when she was only about few weeks old at $150. Her name came about cos' she used to be this brown like your 3 in 1 coffee. Haha. That the fact's; and I love drinking coffee so much. When I first brought her home; my mum couldn't stand the fur ball and kept nagging at me because Koffee chews at anything she sees. However she has grew up to become this obedient and charming dog. I miss her alot cos' I can't see her everyday as I have moved out and she is under the care of someone else. So this photo that I uploaded here give me easy access to 'see' Koffee.

Singapore - The almost overcrowded island and the lack of graciousness

Singapore as an island is really getting to be overcrowded. And overcrowded environment leads to angry people. I couldn't stand walking on the street this days on the weekends and even after working hours cos' you may ended up having this 'frowned lines' on your forehead every night that you have to smoothe it out with moisturer. I am not joking here. This ' frowned lines' came about when people pushed past you; abruptly stopped in the middle of the road; hitted you with their bags...Ouch!! How can you possibly have a 'good day'!!! And of cos' not to mention even maintaining your cool. I have seen people saying the foul language either muttering it under their breath or aloud. Worse; they show you some sort of 'sign languages'. Where is the graciousness that we are all been taught?

I used to think female here do take things for granted. They really expect that 'somebody' ( I open the door though) to open the door for them; let them through first. I mean I as a lady of course would want that as well. Who wouldn't? But where is the word of 'Thank you'? You open the door for them or even let them through a narrow passage first; they walked out without a smile or the simple 'Thank you'. But Hello!! I'm a lady too and I never do that cos' its really rude for the person who has showed courtesy for me.

Male this days even worse. My boyfriend who drive to work every day will have a few incidence to share. There was once when we were driving at the City area; this man was seen strolling (and I mean really strolling) to cross the road when cars are nearing him. He is this well-dressed man in shirt and pants. This is not one incidence; it has happened many times on the road. We even saw another man talking to his partner while crossing the road and cars have to slow down because of this. He did turned around; stare blankly at the cars and still continue talking and walking slowly. Ok; did he forget about road safety; is he not paying attention or just being inconsiderate to others?

So this island; being small; we see people everyday and everywhere. Just be gracious as you never know who you will cross path with.
